AIM TOC2 Plugin 1.4.1.9
-Removed the check added in 1.4.1.8. On further inspection tdt should never be dereferenced- initiated to NULL, free'd, and reinitialized as needed.

-Fixed utf bugs that caused groups to not be added to miranda; which, in turn caused users in those groups to not display.

AIM TOC2 Plugin 1.4.2.1
- Added support for the "DELETE2" command- so online buddies that are removed from another client will turn offline on miranda.
- Fixed "INSERTED2" command to display the buddy that is added instead of the group name (same goes for DELETED2).
- Added checking for NULL groups in the "INSERTED2 and DELETED2" commands - so that a pagefault doesn't occur.
- Changed the default server to toc.oscar.aol.com - so people stop whining about not being able to connect.

Новый билд миранды, №38 от 6 ноября.
Looks like the revolution with the Unicode language packs is over. Now almost all elements of the Unicode Miranda interface (dialogs, popup menus, strings) should be displayed on the chosen language, independently on the language of your OS (I’d been testing the French langpack on the russian XP). Please report all translation problems to me. Also numerous bugfixes, as usual.
Если по русски, то:
Похоже, что преобразования, связанные с Unicode языковыми пакетами закончены. Теперь почти все элементы интерфейса Unicode Миранды (диалоги, попап меню и т.д.) должны отображаться на выбранном языке, независимо от языка вашей OS. Также многочисленные багфиксы, как обычно.
Пользователям Unicode миранды качать обязательно, пользователям nonUnicode миранды - совсем не обязательно (я качнул, разницы не заметил, даже номер билда не поменяли ;) ).

Avatar service 0.0.1.11
+ added patch by pescuma for making normal avatars transparent (or semi- transparent). There are global (under Customize->Contact pictures) and per contact settings (contact menu -> Contact picture...). In order to get good results, you will need to tweak the settings a bit - it works for most avatar pictures with a uni-color background, but it really depends on the image.

+ built with Visual Studio 2005 (Visual C++ 8.0). The DLL is now statically linked, so they are somewhat bigger, but it avoids error messages because of the new VC++ 8 runtime which is not installed on most PCs.

+ added unicode version (loadavatarsW.dll) which will display unicode nicknames in the "per user" contact picture dialog.

+ added services and events to manage own avatar pictures. See m_avatars.h for more information. Also, the drawing service was enhanced to allow drawing your own avatars.

Miranda Build #40 released

This is the first build which includes the tabSRMM plugin, so we can test the latest build now. The problem with the Atomic plugin’s options is fixed, with the bunch of another ones. Many changes were made to the protocols plugins.

Also, to all people who have problems with so called ‘asian’ chars in the User Details, File Transfer dialogs and some another places: these problems are caused by the incompatibility between the Unicode core and non-Unicode clist. Currently only the clist_classic and clist_nicer+ are Unicode-aware clist clones. I’m working on this problem right now, so hopefully it will be finally solved.
Если по русски, то это первый билд с включенным tabsrmm, последней версией (0.9.9.99). Решена трабла с плагином Atomic, много изменений в плагинах протоколов. Также решена трабла с "азиатскими символами" при использовании юникодного ядра и неюникодного clist.

Contains some big internal changes. This build should be considered NOT stable. The mod permits the DB be "virtualized" - the whole db is copied to the memory and is accessed only there without performing any disk access. Later, on user request, or automatically the DB can be updated to the real DB file and bounded again to it.

One of the benefits of such approach is avoiding writing history. The user can configure Miranda and to virtualize the DB. The history will be written only to the image in the memory and on exit can be discarded.

When the db is virtualized the memory image can be written to new file - i.e. to create a backup.
It is possible to load the DB even from read-only media.

This mod is in very alpha stage and should be used with high precautions. Make backup of your DB before installing some of these plugins!
Другими словами: в памяти хранится копия профиля и запись происходит только в него. Скидывается он на диск либо по запросу, либо при выходе (по желанию).
(Вроде, там еще шедулер хотят приделать...)
Каковы плюсы этого:
1. Не происходит постоянного обращения к диску, что позволяет флэшкам жить дольше.
(Ты счастлив, PSyton? :) )
2. Можно настроить так, что история будет писаться только в память и не будет скидываться на диск.
3. Появилась возможность сохранять профиль в новый файл во время работы.

Что еще можно сказать...
По сравнению с SecureDB нет прикола, когда в DBEditore не отображались имена контактов при редактировании базы (видимо исходники поновее пользуются, сам SecureDB не обновлялся чего-то).
Ну и собственно, как было сказано выше это еще альфа стадия плагина, но народ на него не ругается, а значит все не так плохо :)

Там не упомянута настройка включающая относительные пути (если путь начинается с папки миранды).

Плагин VirtDBSync, осуществляющий сохранение виртуального профиля через определенные промежутки времени. Будет полезен при неожиданных падениях миранды.

The container is now using an own window class and no longer the default dialog box window class.

fixed a few visual glitches with the toolbar and attached dropdown arrows
continued skinning engine - can now skin the window frame + title bar.
The message log history & message input box are now drawing their borders with visual style support. This avoids the “ugly” classic - style static edges around the text areas. Note that you can still set the text areas to display no border at all and appear completely flat (the option is on the Tabs and Layout page -> Message dialog visual settings -> Flat message log).

This also fixes a bug for WindowBlinds users where the static edge of the rich edit control shows “Garbage”.

UI improvments

The toolbar has been slightly modified to allow configuration of button appearance. They can now be:
flat or 3d
themed (visual styled) or non-themed
You can set these options from Options->Message Window->Tabs and layout
Also, the “dropdown” buttons are no longer individual buttons, instead, the dropdown arrows are now “attached” to already existing buttons. This looks better and makes the extremely small dropdown buttons obsolete (they were looking pretty bad with some visual styles in non-flat mode).
The button tooltips have been enhanced and allow multiline tooltext display for better clearance.
changes to the window splitter (the small line just below the toolbar which splits the message window into the history and input area)

Now, when you release the splitter after moving it, a menu appears which allows you to select from a few options. Your selection will then determine what happens, and there are the following options:

Set Position for this Session -> default (and old behaviour), just set the splitter and it’s done. It will be saved when you close the session, unless you have disabled the “Autosave splitter” option on the splitter menu (see below, how to open this menu).
Set and Save for all Sessions -> will apply the new splitter position to all open message windows. It will also save it as default value for new message sessions.
Note will not set it for sessions which are using private splitter position. To check whether a message session is using a private (”per contact”) splitter position, click the leftmost dropdown arrow on the toolbar and choose the “Splitter” submenu.
Set and Save for this Contact only -> will save the splitter and set the splitter mode for this session to Private, which means that this contact will not share the splitter position with other message sessions.
Revert to old position -> will forget the changes and restore the position which was active before you were starting to drag the splitter.

Workaround for UTF-8 sending bug(s) with Trillian - when the per contact send mode is set to “Force Ansi”, tabSRMM will write ProtoName/UnicodeSend and set this BYTE value to 0 before sending a message. If “Force Ansi” is not set, tabSRMM will clear this value when it exists.
ICQJ is using this DB value to disable UTF-8 sending on a “per contact” basis.

Miranda IM 0.4.3 Build #49 (RC1)

Since that build, the feature freeze is declared over all core components. Only bugs will be fixed till the 0.4.3 release. This build contains the last major feature: Unicode menus (genmenu) in nicer+. Let’s test it, and then I’ll port it to clist_modern & clist_mw, and maybe to clist_classic.

Возможно, кому-то будет интересно.
Я, на досуге, написал плагин для импорта из &RQ.
В настоящий момент он на стадии тестирования и т.п., но работает.
Изначально было только unicode (http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/mimimportng/importNGw.7z?download) версия, но сделана и ANSI (http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/mimimportng/importNGa.7z?download), правда вторая тестировалась гораздо меньше.

- five major problems were fixed in Jabber (please, use it carefully, cause there were a lot of changes);
- new tabSRMM with large number of fixes;

Miranda IM v0.5 Test Build #57 Now Available

We’re entering the final testing phase. As Robert said, we changed the version from 0.4.3.x to 0.5.0.x, so 0.5.0.57 is the ’stable’ build, with all core plugins frozen for adding features. Now only critical bugs would be fixed, the release is close.

This build contains some fixes for YAHOO, Aim & IcqOscarJ protocols. Also some minor bugs were fixed in Jabber.

Как вы поняли 0.3.4 ветка перименованна в 0.5, так и будет называться совсем близкий к выпуску релиз.
Новые тестовые билды идут уже как 0.6.

After a lot of work, 0.5 Preview Release 1 is now available. Beginning with Miranda IM 0.5 there will be two versions of Miranda. There will be a unicode (Windows 2000, XP) and ansi (Windows 9x, Windows ME) version. So please be sure to download the appropriate version for your system.

Before you download this release, please be aware of the following:

This release has been tested and should not contain any major bugs, however we can make no promises. As always, please backup your profile and plugins before installing.
We need users to test both the zip and the installer to verify that initial setup is working correctly. If you are upgrading from 0.4.0.3 please let us know if the installer does not upgrade your installation correctly.
It is very import that you report any bugs you find as soon as possible. The quicker we get reports of issues with this release, the quicker we can officially release a stable 0.5.

- Database can store the Unicode strings (in utf8 format), and save and return these strings as ANSI, UCS2 and UTF8 strings
