Первым в ринг вышел (как претендент) Владимир Кличко.

Затем под негритянский госпел вышел и чемпион - Крис Берд.

Звучат гимны. Начали с гимна США. Гимн Украины исполнен очень своеобразно.

Майкл Баффер приветствует публику. Все готово к началу поединка.

Судейская бригада на 3/4 состоит из представителей США, 1 боковой судья из Великобритании.

1 раунд. Владимир работает джебом. Бой оба начали осторожно. За первую половину ни одного удара правой в исполнении Кличко. Во второй половине картина не изменилась. Кому же отдать раунд? Претенденты так не выигрывают.

2 раунд. Владимир - опять джеб. Средняя дистанция. Берд старается попасть в корпус и уйти. Прошел крепкий удар Владимира. Правый в голову Берда. Джеб, джеб, джеб. Опять пошла правая. Конец в клинчах. Раунд за Кличко.

3 раунд. Берд сразу пошел на сближение. Владимир опять выставил джеб. Держит Берда на удобной для себя дистанции. Раунд проходит в возне и клинчах, так как Берд начинает активничать. Кличко кажется нашел свой ритм. Раунд должен быть за Владимиром.

4 раунд. Таже картина, только Владимир уже не обозначает удары правой, а бьет. Тем не менее, Кличко старается по возможности не вкладываться в удары. Берд старается перевести бой в ближний, но не очень получается. Раунд Кличко.

5 раунд. Двойка Кличко и Берд на полу. Нокдаун!!! Берд у канатов, Кличко пытается добить. Град ударов!!! Рефери трудно податься соблазну и не остановить бой! Зал на ногах, Берд пока тоже. Этот раунд закончится победой Кличко. Ждем следующего раунда.

6 раунд. Рефери перед раундом предупредил Криса о том, что тот пропускает слишком много ударов. Не самая сильная двойка Кличко пошатнула Берда. Опять идет джеб. Кличко старается действовать эфективно, не "вымахаться". Берд кажется уже опьянел от ударов. Кличко пока не давит на газ, потому Берд на ногах, но боем это уже не назовешь. Преимущество украинца слишком очевидно. Еще один раунд за Владимиром.

7 раунд. Стюард доволен Владимиром,призывает боксировать разумно, с умом. Серия ударов и Берд снова на полу! Нокдаун! Крис быстро встал на ноги, но рефери уже не позволил этому безобразию продолжаться. Бой закончен.

Победа Владимира техническим нокаутом в 7 раунде.

Wlad comes out Jabbing straight away...
Byrd trying to come in close but eating jab.
Byrd launches a assault but Wlad evades.
Wlad pawing the jab not hitting.
Byrd trying to jab the body but misses.
Jab lands for Wlad.
Straight left to the body lands for Byrd but wasnt much behind it.
Another straight to the head misses.
Hard jab lands by Wlad, and another jab to the body.
Jab lands for Byrd ... Wlad trying to punch down Byrds defense.
Byrd launches to get in close but hugs Wlad.
Byrd keeps trying to paw Wlads hand away.
Close tentative round for both with not much action but the clearer punches landed by Wlad.

Round - 2

Wlad comes out jabbing again ... mostly just trying to get Byrds defense away.
Byrd trys a hook to the body but misses.
More jabs by wlad , Byrd trys to hit it away.
Left hook misses by Wlad... they both clinch.
Left hook glances again by Wlad and another.
Straight hard right lands for Wlad , seemed to hurt Byrd.
Jab by Byrd just misses , Wlad responds with 1 of his own.
Wlad circling away from Byrds left.
Another straight right hand lands for Wlad ... not as hard this time.
Byrd lands a glancing punch to the body.
Another right lands for Wlad , Byrd clinches, and another right hand.
Right misses from Wlad but lands a left hook.
Hard right just misses by Wlad.

Clearer round from Wlad ... Byrd barely throwing anything

Round - 3

Byrd lands a combination to the body of the bell.
Wlad circling and jabbing.
Left hook from Wlad just lands on the defense , Byrd response with the jab.
And another jab to the body from Byrd.
Another left to the body from Byrd, and another.
Right lands for Wlad, Wlad clinching this round.
Jab lands for Wlad.
Hard right left lands for Wlad , and another ... stunned byrd.
Another straight right lands.

First half for Byrd , 2nd half for Wlad ... hard to score..

Im edging the round to Wlad cause he landed the clearer harder shots.... could be for Byrd tho.

Round - 4

Wlad starts again with some jabs of the bell.
Wlad lands a hard straight right.
Snapping jab lands for Wlad , Byrd responds with a straight left to the body.
Right hook lands for Wlad followed by a straight hand , some jabs too.
And another straight hard right lands.... small swelling starting on Byrds face.
2 jabs and a hard right lands for Wlad.
Byrd trying to launch in but eats jabs.
Byrd looks frustrated, lands a jab tho.
Byrd launches in n eats a straight right, hes clinching now when he gets close.
Jab to the body from Wlad, followed by a straight right.

Very clear round by Wlad ... Byrd on the defense.

10 - 9 Wlad

Round - 5

Jabs from Wlad off the bell yet again , Byrd lands 1 of his own.
3 snapping jabs from Wlad hurting Byrd, but he lands 1 of his own again.
WOW hard left right combination and Byrd goes down and takes a count but hes up fast.
Wlad unloading on Byrd on the ropes , Wlad landing very ahrd shots.
Byrd trying to fight back but stumbling arround , Byrd soaking up loads n loads of punches.
Hard lefts n rights landing but Byrd is signaling he wants more.
Another hard right lands n Byrd almost goes down.
Byrd in survival mode ... Wlad slowing down again ... But a VERY hard right lands again when Byrd is on the ropes.... amazing how Byrd is still standing.
Byrd seems to have recoverd but still surviving.

Byrds face completely swollen....

Byrds fammily in tears....
Wlad going further with what he started .. 2hard jabs and a very hard right lands for him.
More jabs..... Byrd still looks shaky.
Hard straight right lands for Wlad ... and another.
Byrd wobbling a little.
Hard left right combination lands ... followedup by another.
Byrd not throwing anything.
Byrd trying to paw his jab.
More jabs by Wlad fight slowing down a little ... Wlad looking for openings.
Hard straight right lands for Wlad, Byrd responds with a jab.
Hard left to the head followed by a right to the body by Wlad.

Wlad starting again with some jabs ... Byrd seems to have recoverd a little.
Very hard left right lands for Wlad ... Byrd wobbles ... another hard right lands , Byrd goes down .... Bleeding .... Ref stops the fight !!!
