Swiftech H2O-220 Compact Kit
"Swiftech has been around since 1994 and is perhaps best known for their thermoelectric and liquid cooling solutions that first gained popularity in late 2000 / early 2001. They have also produced many well renowned air-cooled heatsinks using their patented Helicoid pin design. While I have never had any personal experience with their products I can say that I've heard nothing but good things from others who have.
Recently I had the opportunity to test out one of their latest water-cooling kits, the H2O-220 Compact. I know some of you are probably thinking, "oh no, not a water-cooling kit..." as many hard-core users will usually try to dissuade people from purchasing a "kit". The idea being that a better system can be built from individually selected components. I must admit my water cooling experience has thus far been limited to these pre-assembled kits from different manufacturers, and so far I have found no "kit" that can beat a high-end air-cooled setup, although many have come close, and certainly done it while making a whole lot less noise.
So when I received the H2O-220 Compact, the question that was paramount in my mind was if Swiftech could once and for all dismiss the conception that outstanding performance cannot be had from a water-cooling kit. With words like "extreme" and "ultimate cooling machine" emblazoned on the package it definitely seems as though Swiftech thinks so. In fact, going by the O/C meter printed on the back of the box, they're claiming the kit can handle an overclocked quad core processor easily, and even provide cooling for up to two additional video cards. Unfortunately I didn't receive the optional VGA blocks with the kit in order to test this out, however I plan to install the H2O-220 on my overclocked 6400+ Black, so its ability to keep that inferno under control will definitely be put to the test."
Danger Den MPC-975X Chipset Waterblock
"This version of the MPC Chipset Block is compatible with most Intel 975X chipset motherboards. Other versions are available for 680i, RD600, and i865/i875 chipsets. There are also special versions available for particular motherboards (such as the DFI Expert and the ASUS A8N) and a universal version for most other boards."
NZXT Cryo LX Notebook Coole
"In the few years since the company was formed, the NZXT brand has developed quite a reputation with their computer cases and power supplies. Their products are generally focused on providing well built, interesting designs to appeal the computer enthusiast looking for a suitable place for their high end systems to call home. While they now offer a variety of products for desktop computers, it is with the product provided for this review that they take their first step into the mobile computing market."
Scythe NINJA Copper CPU Cooler
""The Scythe NINJA Copper CPU Cooler one very large cooler! The heatsink weighs in at 1015 grams and if the fan is installed that adds another 115 grams. This is unquestionable heavy but not a big concern because of the way it gets installed using a motherboard back plate. It has an all copper heatsink with many fins. These fins are large and they are connected to long heatpipes which meet into a solid base. Watch the video to find out more and check out the bloopers at the end." ~3dGameMan.com"
