1) The problem emule has is due to some people found out that sending crapped packets as search results and connecting to download using crapped packages crashes emule. These people are now exploiting that problem.
2) Emule has probably messed up your 'MSVCRT.DLL'. try grabbing an up to date version from the net (there are dll sites) and replace it. Windows desperatly needs a working msvcrt.dll or it goes mad at you. The reason for emule messing up the dll is related to the security leak in emule itself (and most possibly due to incorrect usage of MFC in coding).
3) Downgrading serves no point at the moment. The security leak exists in v27c and below. In v28a the error has been masqueraded but not fixed, I know it from testing out myself.

4) If you have a linux box (it works too on win) try sticking to mldonkey for the moment. This app is not as easy to use as emule but is not affected by the hacking up to now (i'm doing this until v28b is out).

скажу от себя... сейчас у меня чистый wинд и на нем 0.28b2 без проблем... скорее всего у тебя осталась проблема из-за старой версии потому что поврежден file в самом wинде...
