GeForce 6800 Ultras hit retail shelves in Japan

It looks like nVidia's flagship 6800 Ultra products are finally on their way to retail availability, as evidenced by the images shown at Japanese site Akiba depicting an
Asus V9999 board in a retail store.
The Inquirer have also noted this fact, suggesting that sample boards should reach Europe and the US soon:

This roughly means that those cards should be available in sample quantities very soon for the US and European press and by the middle of next month they should not be too rare in shops.
