You can use the Nero CD-DVD Speed utility to find out how much capacity there is exactly on a disc.
Nero CD-DVD Speed is part of the Nero Toolkit which you can find in the 'Start --> Ahead Nero --> Nero Toolkit' menu.
Once you have Nero CD-DVD Speed launched, go to 'Extra --> Overburning Test' to get the results. (You must have media in your recorder before you begin the test.)
