Each in April,The Nippon Connection Film Festival turns
Frankfurt,Germany into the centre of japanese film and
culture in Europe.Celebrating its fifth anniversary in
2005,the festival features four sections:Nippon
Cinema,Nippon Digital,Nippon Culture & Nippon Retro.Parts
of its program also tour troughout Europe.Films are show
within a broader cultural context,complemented by
concerts,workshops ans exhibitions,thereby exposing
viewers to various elements of japanese culture.Nippon
Connection also brings together
Gremans and japanese perceptions of one another and ways
of looking at the world,especially as expressed in film.
