Вот новый данные:

Mac OS X can run on regular x86 computers! Yes, it can be done! A person called Deadmoo was able to get Mac OS X for x86 running in VMware. He used patched files by hackers that found a way to get around the TPM security checks.

Deadmoo has written a guide that explains how he got it to work. He installed it from the DVD (which includes fat binaries for both PPC and x86) in PearPC and used this installation as a base to get it running in a virtual PC using VMware. The Installation DVDs has been sent alongside the x86 machines to developers since June 2005.

Insiders inform that the operating system does only work on CPUs with SSE3 instructions and with some limitations on SSE2 CPUs. It is also said to include only a limited set of drivers.

Update: A first benchmark result has appeared. It was a computer using an Intel Celeron 2.8 GHz, 512 MB RAM and Intel GMA 900 graphics. It got 30.04 points running Mac OS X (x86) natively on the PC, which is about the score of a modern low end Mac. Please keep in mind that it used the integrated PPC emulation/translation Rosetta to run XBench, because it's a PPC application.
