Проблема с Knoppix 4.02

Подскажите плиз... что за ерунда...
Пытаюсь загрузиться, как с загрузочного диска. Но, как только появляется Desktop с курсором... всё... пусто. Никаких меню, только курсор.
В чём может быть дело?
У меня
AMD 64
Nforce4
Ati x700pro
При загрузке не определяет встроенныю звуковуху и название видюхи. Но думаю дело не в этом.

Стандартные вопросы:
1) целостность самого диска с Knoppix
2) загрузиться не с 4.02, а с какой-нибудь другой версии, может быть глюк конкретного ядра
3) если видюха не определилась корректно или определилась неправильно, то может XServer нестартануть, так и будет командная строка. Возможно тут надо копать. У тебя пишется какое-нибудь сообщение об ошибке при запуске XServer ?

A: It may be that very new (or exotic) graphics cards are not in the hardware database yet. These will still usually work under Linux! You can type

A: It might work if portions of the auto configuration are skipped. This can be specified with "knoppix noscsi" or "knoppix nopcmcia". If the problem can be identified -> please send the exact error message and when possible a proposed solution using the web form at http://www.knopper.net/kontakt/ ! Sometimes the output of "lspci ; lspci -n" is very helpful, especially if the problem involves incorrectly identified graphics cards.

В том то и дело, что командной строки нима. Вообще ничего нельзя сделать ;(
