Кеш в XP
 

Всем привет!

Никто не сталкивался с такой ситуацией?

Стоит у меня Windows XP Professional с накатанным сверху SP1 (ver: [Версия 5.1.2600]). Что мне ООЧЕНь не нравится: когда NERO копирует CD в образ, или файл 700мб с винта на винт копирую, XP пытается все это дело прокешировать. И хоть на машине и 512 ОЗУ :smile:, но тем не менее вся винда становится раком. Т.е. все начинат дико тормозить. Такое ощущение, что винда все возможное ОЗУ пытается отдать под кеш. В каком месте этот кэш можно ограничить? Подскажите, please, а то уже замучился. Невозможно работать, пока идет копирование:idontnow:

А оптимизация памяти (Memory Usage)под что стоит Programs или System Cache ?

для System Cache такое бывает, попробуй переключить на Programs

А не проще поставить птичку в настройках Nero "Oбoйти Windows пpи кэшиpoвaнии drag&drop фaйлoв в
пpoeктax ISO, UDF и ISO/UDF для уcкopeния кэшиpoвaния.".

Тока что рылся не нашел.... хотя вроде ниче не тормозит :))

Nero / файл / предустановки / кеш.

Не... IMHO немножко не то. Насколько я понял в Nero идет речь о кэшировании записываемых файлов на CD. Выдержка из Nero: bypass windows while caching dragged&dropped files......

А я же делаю CD COPY на ImageDrive.

К тому-же все стоит раком и вот в таком случае: откатываю болванку (например Avi на весь CD), а затем говорю: FC /B c:\video.avi d:\video.avi. Все, финиш, винда подыхает. А после проверки начинает радостно доставать все из свопа.

Оптимизация в параметрах быстродействия стоит: для программ. Счаз попробую CleverCache...

CleverCache штука хорошая - но иногда не справляется. Никто не знает, где как кэша можно у самой XP? Реестр, etc..
