The usual installation steps:
Untar the source package
cd to the new directory and then type:
# ./configure && make
# su -c "make install"
A compile problems with Red Hat 8 has been reported.
The problem was in this case solved by adding typing:
# make -f Makefile.cvs && ./configure && make
