Сам с прокси не работал, ничего не скажу, Но вот отрывок из мануала:
On Windows NT only, you can install the proxy as a service by first running it with the "-install" option to register it as a service. You can then start and stop the proxy from the standard Windows NT services Control Panel.
Думаю понятно и без перевода
-install - установит прокси как сервис под NT - то есть вообще без иконки в трее.
