The best way is to try yourself
Take me for example had 2000 and 2000AdvancedServer for a while but then when i got WinXp i liked it and all programs are working fine not mentioning the games (no problems there).
So as i said the best way is to try and see for yourself it doesn't take long to reinstall windows espesially if u r a private user (no network stuff) so go on and try
